Originally from Finland, Parisienne by marriage. Happy mother of a happy daughter. I have traveled in more than sixty countries for pleasure and work. Love cooking, restaurants and food markets. Design and architecture catch my eye. This blog is about everyday life in Paris, past memories converted into travel stories and new adventures.
Hmmm…we are still in the 40 F here. Spring temps will creep in around the beginning of April. To get warmth wed fly to the Philippines. Until then brrrrrr.
I’ll be moving to Paris soon, do you know any good homepages to find affordable studios/apartment for a period of 6 weeks to 2 months? π Thanks!!

Welcome to Paris!
Since it is such a short stay, have you tried airbnb?
Renting through an agency, especially if you are not “sur place”, can be tricky…
From when to when do you need? I can keep my eyes and ears open.
If you are on Facebook, there are quite a few groups e.g. Expats in Paris etc, where you could try.
My husband just said that he regularly receives ads of this website http://www.book-a-flat.com/ (I don’t know them).
Good luck!

I agree!
This winter has been very, very mild, but I would not mind having 25-30C again π

π I can always go and “meet summer half-way” before it arrives in Europe π

I am down with that! What a plan!

You must be quite closer to summer weather than Europe is, or am I wrong? Where would you go to have some sun?
